Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Mark and after seeing the absolutely horrible personal finance advice online I decided to start my own website that advocates for frugal living and responsible finance. I don't claim to know everything but I'm doing ok for myself and I think ultimately that's all people want.
I was born in 1977 outside of Chicago, IL and went to the University of Illinois where I received my bachelor's degree and met my wife. In 1999 I was accepted for my MA at the Kellogg School of Management at the Northwestern University but that ultimately fell through when we had our first baby. I currently work as a Business Analyst for a small-but-growing telecommunications company just outside of Chicago.
