Frugal Fashion I

Whew, alright, let me clarify what I mean by that title. You can still be in fashionable clothes without having to break the bank. You might not be in the most stunning outfit, but you'll get by. Look into the frugal fitness sections if you're interested in making people less concerned with the clothing and more focused on the person wearing them.

Anyway, there are a few simple things you can do to stretch out your budget when it comes down to buying clothes. The first thing seems laughable, but studies have been done and this actually applies. If you wear tennis shoes, and don't untie the laces when you take off your shoes, you're likely to spend $70 a year more than if you take the extra 2.3 seconds to untie your shoes. Why on Earth would anyone study this type of thing· You're asking the wrong guy, but I can tell you why it works: the lessened friction generated against the material in the heel of the shoe means that it will wear out less quickly and not break through, revealing that painful plastic that we're all too familiar with.
