Quebec's Global Warming Tax

According to Reuters UK, Quebec is set to introduce a new carbon tax. This doesn't come as a surprise me--Canada has always been a very progressive country in terms of the environment; what does surprise me, though, is that business leaders are at the front of the pack in its advocacy for all of Canada.

Good for them, seriously. Here in the United States we talk and talk and talk and do nothing. Quebec is ahead of the game and even if it's the wrong decision they're at least doing something. I think that's typically what swarming masses around the globe want in general--for their governments to do something. We can forgive wrong decisions but constant debate and inaction benefits no one.
