Mattel Apologizes to China

Mattel was forced to deliver a humiliating public apology to "the Chinese people" on Friday over the damaging succession of product recalls of China-made toys that the US toymaker has announced in recent months.
Ouch. Taken from the Financial Times, that blurb explains what's wrong with America in a nutshell. China is an oppressive regime that, if they didn't quite literally own us, we would have declared war on long ago. Unfortunately for the United States, China does in fact (literally) own us. Because they own so much of our debt there's really nothing we can do in regards to protesting. It also doesn't help that 95% of our manufactured goods overseas from from there. Which is why we're apologizing for a country that's sending poisonous dog food, lead-covered toys, and God knows what else into our borders.
