Why Bother Budgeting·

A budget is nothing more than a plan for your use of money. Think of the money you'll save if you just spend more wisely. If you're planning on achieving your financial goals without a plan you might be in for some bad news down the road. Developing this spending plan is the first and most basic step in getting your money to work for you and it doesn't matter one bit how much money you're making. There are budget plans for everyone.

Many people who spend more money than they make don't even realize this until it's too late and they have acquired significant amounts of debt. Credit cards and loans are typically to blame but spending without knowing how much money you have available creates the exact same problem. Actively decide how much money you can afford to spend instead of letting spending just "happen". Your money is in control of you without a plan and what you want is for your money to work for you.
