Frugal Housekeeping

A great way to save some money while cleaning the house is to skip on the paper towels. Sure, Viva puts out a fantastic product that can soak up just about everything but it also costs $1.29 a roll. With it being so thick you don't get much longevity on your $1.29 investment. Using rags and just washing them when you're done will save you at least a couple paper towel rolls a week, although it can be a little more disgusting.
Additionally, the the products you frequently use as the cleaner are rarely more than water so why pay for something you can get for free? For cleaning wood floors, using any sort of chemical is going to damage them so using water whenever you can isn't just the thrifty choice--it's the choice you should be making to help the life of your wood flooring.

Indeed, this saves lots of money. I prefer to get some microfiber cloths, and keep them in a box for clean up needs, they catch more dirt, and are easily washed! Happily saving More! Also using Window Cleaning cloths that are washable has also cut down, our window cleaning expenses.
