Sarah Palin is an Idiot

Posted By: The Cheapest Skate in Politics on 09/09/2008 at 07:45:11

Ok, the Republican Party just lost my vote. I had fully intended on voting for McCain but now that Sarah Palin could be the next president, I guess Obama/Biden will get my vote. Sarah Palin is such an idiot--she knows nothing about nothing (except how to raise her kids like poor beltway kids: one in the military and the other pregnant-and-under-18). I guess that's why they picked her; if that's what America really is. I want no part of that. I can't believe I'm going to vote blue but she's a deal-breaker.

Here is what scares me,thousands of what I thought were semi intelligent women are saying how wonderful she is. She is an idiot, liar and maybe even a criminal, but I don't know that for sure yet. People who say she is the real deal are also idiots, she is a right winged evangelical christian who is a wacko! By the way, what ever happened to separation of church and state?

Posted by Blake at September 16, 2008, 11:09 pm:
I was going to vote for McCain as well. But after seeing that interview with Charlie Gibson, I am scared. Not just because of the Bush Doctrine segment. But just war in general, this person is irrational and lacks diplomacy. I mean, Russia, you want to go to war right away with Russia (without any kind of buffer in diplomacy)? Last time i checked we are still at war in Iraq, and Afghanistan (and possibly Pakistan). And she might even well want to go for the big "I" Iran, no way! You start pissing off everyone they will come back and gang up on you. Remember Rome? The Romans practically pissed off every barbarian tribes in Europe and in Asia, look what happened to them?

Oh my, I am sooo glad I am not alone. I too was going to place my vote for McCain... I just don't know what could be going on in that man's head. Doesn't he look in the mirror and realize that there is a good chance he could leave this world soon and we would be stuck with a complete no nothing buffoon to run our country? You can pretend your way to the Alaska Governor's mansion, but you can't pretend your way through the presidency! I am soooo frustrated.

Glad to see I am not the only one here on this situation. I am a registered Republican and has always been since I first voted. I know George Bush is not the most smartest man in town, but I supported him in 2000; which I regret doing - his party really messed up the economy. But Sarah Palin? she has lesser experience than Obama. Is McCain smoking crack? Why is it that most Republicans are blinded by this hype? Doesn't McCain know that there is a chance, in his old age that he could pass away and this derange lunatic will take over? This really concerns me so much. The integrity and fidelity of our great country are at stake here.

This woman is not fit to be in the position of executive leadership. The Republicans messed up the economy and I just got laid off last week [from a bank i cannot mention]. Truly, from what I have seen, she and McCain are dead wrong on the subject of the Economy. If you make more than 200k per year, fine vote for Palin and McCain, you want that big tax break cause you are that rich. If you make less than 200,000, I suggest vote for the Blue team, you'll get more tax break from the blue team. I hate to say this, But I am going to vote for Obama/Biden. I still am Republican at heart, but I realized that McCain just has a hair trigger when it comes to decision making. One example, look at his choice for VP.

How irresponsible of any American to vote for McCain/Palin!! This woman could be a cancer cell away from being president, if elected. I, for one, do not want her near "the button." People who do not want to vote for OBAMA because, horrors! he's black should then just not vote. He is inexperienced you say. What was Cheney's excuse? Experienced as they come and what did he do besides run the country for the last 8 yrs? Got a balanced budget and ran it up 10 TRILLION dollars. Ooops...that was Bill Clinton's fault. And the prosperity of the 90's? I forgot that, too. It was trickled down from Regan. You remember him...Death Valley Days. He had a gig in the 80's...What a fine actor he was!!!!

PALIN'S Resume: local sportscaster girl, 4 years on the city counciland 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people. Facts are facts people...

Posted by Milton F at September 19, 2008, 9:00 pm:
Nobody is commenting on the fact that our government is broke. We cover our budget gaps by selling bonds. Selling bonds causes our currency to lose value relative to other currencies. I don't think Palin has any knowledge this if she is even considering another war. We simply don't have the funds.

At first I agreed with Bush/McCainPalin wanted to privatize our retirement or social security. But seeing how this close call of AIG and other banking and investment institutions happened. I am glad that we did not do that. I am convince now, PalinMcCain are just a bunch of tool, they really do not know anything about the economy. They should start truly caring for the middle class.

I am guilty of this. At first I did not want to vote for Obama because he is black, yes, I am somewhat of a racist sure, but I am not the only one. I realize that this election is really important and our economy is at stake. Palin/McCain is not right in the head, they flip flop on their issues way too much.

I can honestly say that the Palin addition to the ticket secured my vote for Obama. Despite being financially conservative, I cannot stomach the Right Wing Republican party members, playing McCain like a puppet. This so called upstanding "moral" woman, is chosing to hand her Down's Syndrome baby off to a nanny when he most needs care and intervention; parade her underaged daughter's sexual mistakes in front of America; and keep the funds for the "Bridge to Nowhere" project for Alaska. (Yes folks, she turned down the project, but she didn't return the federal funds). If these are examples of upstanding moral values - NO THANKS

OMG.. so far all of my thoughts have all been printed here already. This feels like home. I would rather become a suicide bomber than put our entire country at risk by voting the McCain Palin Ticket. She definitely is a deal breaker for me too. Are people really that stupid or blind that they think she is the cat's meow? Perhaps we should go back and read a copy of the Emperor's New Clothes, to try to understand what is going on here. I had a dream last night. They put oil rigs off of all of our shores, then they put nuclear power plants dispersed throughout our nation, then they assassinate McCain in a covert fashion. Everyone thinks he died of natural causes, due to his medical history. The stage is now set for Sarah the no nothing, no diplomacy, hothead, to involve us in a war that will get our entire country blown to smithereens, since they no longer need the American Worker and fear the American Intellectual. This was one of the reasons that many companies got the heads up and left our shores to move their businesses to where the new work forces in China and South America are. The End ~ P.S. Look up Morgellon's Disease. See where it is and isn't. The only places that it isn't is South America, Russia, China, and Africa, except for the southern tip. Co-incidence? Watch your sources of food people! They bought the FDA to help them do you in. P.S. to the Former Republican.. you forgot to mention that this 'brilliant' woman, who could end up being our fearless leader brought her downs syndrome preemie baby, into the RNC to deal with thousands upon thousands of germs for hours on end, just to win votes. No shame and no brains and no motherly instinct going on here, obviously.

What kind of judgement does Mccain have choosing her? What kind of judgement does he have to lead the country? I would think Obama would be way ahead in the polls, but then I remembered that the same american voters put bush in the whitehouse for 8 years!

She thinks she has foreign policy experience because Russia and Alaska are in close proximity to each other, she has private email accounts that she uses for business purposes...STATE of Alaska business! Firing and hiring of state officials based on their friendships or their blood relation to her.........geez............the list goes on and on. hitler was loved by the people and had charisma too until it was discovered that he killed millions of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, brown haired/brown eyed individuals, intellectuals that did not support his policies........ You Palin supporters just wait and see what this idiot does if she gets in office. I can't believe that everyone cannot see through her. Dear Far Right as They Come. I think you had better move over. If you were truly as 'far right as they come', you would know that a Christian who has sexual relations out of wedlock is considered a sinner in God's eyes and this woman would not be your idol. Palin had her first child 8 months after she and her husband had a self imposed shot gun wedding. Like mother, like daughter, and she is STILL not married to her baby's father. If rumors are true, and it certainly seems that way from the chronological sequence of events during the day that Palin 'supposedly ' gave birth to this last child, this could even be the second child of this daughter's, that was born out of wedlock. What woman would go without seeing a Dr.at the nearest hospital when her water was leaking one month before it should have been, with a Down's syndrome compromised baby ? Not only to NOT go immediately to the nearest hospital to make sure that everything was ok, but to go give a speech and then hop on a plane to be up in the air for hours and hours, before the plane could land, while she was in labor. Last time I heard, there are recommendations that a mother not fly the last trimester of birth. With a developmentally challenged child in the womb her just flying TO the speech in Texas shows her lack of judgment and her lack of motherly concern, if in fact she were pregnant which I sincerely doubt. Flying on the day that her water was leaking and she was in labor is the top of this mountain of buffoonery.. What woman would put the airlines and her fellow passengers, and her baby ,and her own life at risk to have to possibly deliver this developmentally challenged child while in the air? Also, If you look at the ten commandments, you will see that to lie is a sin. Yet over and over Palin's speeches have been blatantly filled with lies and gossip and mud slinging. There have been absolute proofs of this by members of the press that have not been bought off or silenced to say otherwise. BY the way... last time I read the bible it was OUR Lord up there. You might want to remember that, if you want to stand in the "Light" of the Lord. God bless you, and may he open your heart and your mind to the truth.

Amen, Setting The Record Straight", Amen. Also, the very idea that this narrow minded, tyrannical, under-educated, under-qualified, faux-religious zealot might have the opportunity to hold and further political office, literally keeps me up at night. If we believe things are already so bad now, that they can only get better, think again. Things can become much worse, and they will with the Faux-Maverick duo running things. On the one hand we have the pseudo-war hero, McCain, who exaggerated, embellished, and down-right lied regarding his military record. He was a mediocre soldier at best, a dangerous, brash liability at worst (look it up, you'll see). On the other hand we have a woman who uses nepotism and favoritism to guide official hiring and firing decisions. Who is so clouded by her religious views, I fear she lacks the inability to make a sound, impartial judgement, if ever in office. Further, she is wholly inexperienced, and without someone telling her what to say, cannot form a single cohesive, intelligible sentence to support her "qualification" as V.P. Oh, and if you can't say "nuclear" (new-clee-er) not "nucular", you should be automatically disqualified! It's not "quaint" or making her sound like "regular people", it makes her sound dumb. Not what "We The People" need, and shame on McCain/Palin for thinking we are dumb enough to fall for it. Prove 'Em Wrong!!

This site gives me hope. I was once a stupid Republican. I was lucky I saw the light during George dunce head first term. I thought it was impossible that anyone could be more stupid than George Bush. Then 10 weeks before we are suppose to elect a President. The LIARs of the world bring out Palin, like George totally unqualified, but sad to say a REAL MORON. Who in the Hell would vote for a stupid ass when we are in the shape were in...Hello! This is not American Idol. I really don't know how stupid this country has become. My wife and I have our Passports. Our forefathers were smart enough to get out of Europe, it may be time to head back. Before they put the fences up!

I am ashamed of my countrymen and countrywomen that this presidential race could even be considered close. Over the last 30 years the "dumbing down" of America, in ever laxer educational and professional standards, and in the acceptance by masses of people the boundless greediness, materialism, and me-first isolationism that is the new "American Dream," has taken us so far from what was good and right about the United States. McCain and Palin represent the worst of these changes in our society. The cynicism and disrespect shown by the Republican Party in nominating these two is an insult to the Republican Party itself as well as to the entire country.

I think John Stewart summed it up best, when commenting about Sarah Palin's comment "Who is Barack Obama?" He said (paraphrasing) "We didn't even know who YOU were 5 weeks ago, who the F**K are you?" I really used to like McCain but that admiration dipped the last year or so and went through the floor when he piced her. Personally, I think he wanted Joe Lieberman, and when the GOP said, "No" picked her as an "FU" of sorts. Happily, from looking at the polls and debate results it looks like she will be back dressing Moose before too long.

And as far as the black guy who stood up at McCain's rally last night and insisted that McCain bring up all of the supposed negatives about Obama at the next debate; he was probably a paid plant from the McCain side. I support the Obama/Biden ticket and suggest that eryone who reads on this blogsite does the same. And by the way, Sarah Palin is an INSANE IDIOT!!!!!!

We need to understand that being in America allows us to be ok with disagreement. That is the beauty of being an American. McCain's campaign has taken things way too far now. His campaign is bringing out the racists who have sat tight lipped for the last year or so, and now that there is a very good chance that a Black Man could possibly become President of the U.S. is just driving them crazy. People really do have their nerves! Afterall, this country belonged to the NATIVE AMERICANS in the first place! McCain/Palin have totally disrespected the republican party and the U.S.

Sarah Palin: 1. misrepresented her use of eBay to sell her plane. 2. abused her official power by firing another official who refused to fire a police officer that she has a family spat with. 3. cannot name the publications she reads, likely because she doesn't know of any. 4. took 7 years to complete a bachelor's degree and jumped between 5 different schools. 5. belongs to a fundamentalist Christian theology. 6. did not raise her child correctly and is now dealing with teen pregnancy. 7. supported the bridge to nowhere, and when theh project was ridiculed, she kept the money. 8. speaks out against earmarks, yet she is a terrible offender of it. 9. does not understand that the role of vice president in the senate is only in moments of a split vote. 10. does not know what the Bush Doctorine is and attempted to lie about it. 11. is focused on 'winning' wars. You cannot win an unjust war. 12. believes she has foreign experience because Alaska is beside Russia and Canada. 13. does not have foreign experience because she only received her passport in 2007. 14. attempted to pull books she disagreed with from the library until the librarian objected. 15. is alleged to actually be the grandmother of Trig, since she announced her pregancy in the 7th month and that her daughter was away from school for 5 months because of mono. 16. believes a natural gas pipeline is God's will. 17. believes the Iraq war is God's will. 18. cannot answer direct questions and blatently switches to her prepared talking points. 19. belittled Obama's community organizer role by claiming being a mayor is sorta like a community organizer, but with real responsibility. 20. thinks she can capture disgruntal Hillary supporters solely because she is a woman. 21. IS AN IDIOT!!!!!!

Glad to see there are so many Reps out there voting Dem because of Palin. I don't get how anyone can like her. This is NOT American Idol...the VP is the proverbial heartbeat away from the Presidency. It's scary to think of her sitting down to a meeting with other world leaders like Putin - he'd eat her for lunch. What's she gonna do? Wink at him? I don't understand the people who want an "avg Joe or Jane" as president. You wouldn't want an Avg Joe or Jane running a company you had invested in. You want the smartest, wisest, worldliest, most intellectually curious, well-read, best-educated, thoughtful person you can get. And being president is a hell of a lot harder than any CEO's job by far. Simply mind-blowing anyone could think she's qualified. She's clearly done a bang up job running her own family...pregnant teen daughter who is going to marry a high school drop out. Christ! She and Todd should at least have encouraged the boy to finish high school with a promise to support the couple until he graduated. She's simply scary.

I am just disappointed with McCain. Very! First of all, most Republicans are smart! We can detect B.S. from a mile away. I'm sorry but I cannot pretend everyday that Palin is qualified. Any Republican with a good common sense should realize that she is not qualified, not a single bit! The choices that were placed on the table is just not good. If I have to choose between the two, I am going to have to go for Obama/Biden. In the beginning of his campaign I was so enthusiastic and happy that this man is running. But after seeing him choose Palin and with all this stupid smear desperate ads that McCain is putting, made his party go downhill.

I understand why McCain picked her, but honestly, I am sure there are plenty of well qualified women who ARE familiar with the way the US Government works and and who could make sound, rational decisions should the need arise. For a little while I actually considered possibly voting for McCain, and then he introduced Sarah Palin and that ended that. She is little more than a pretty face who cannot answer simple questions without being coached or scripted. She also takes every chance she gets to belittle Obama/Biden, which personally, I think is childlike and unprofessional. How can we trust her to balance the federal budget if she didn't even have the decency to return the money given to her state to do a project that never got done. She's a back-stabbing, manipulative little twit who needs to get her priorities straight - Namely attending to the needs of her handicapped son.- before worrying about running for a position she is incapable of handling.

I live in a red state (Arkansas), and McCain lost my vote when he chose Sarah Palin. His decision wasn't though out very well. I'm convinced he tagged Palin to get to those Hillary voters that weren't sold on Obama. I'm very suprised McCain chose Palin, especially since there was a chance she could be investigated on misuse of her power as governor of AK. If McCain makes bad decisions like his choice for the Vice President, imagine what he would do to our country. I'm ready for this to be all over with, and for Obama and Biden to get the "W" in the win column. Palin's 15 minutes of "Mavericky" fame are almost up, and it's time for her and her backseat driver husband Todd to head back to Alaska to finish her/his term and to watch their state's unemployment rate rise as it has since she's became governor. Hopefully Alaska will see the writing on the wall and figure out they elected an idiot to run their state. Please, for those people sitting on the fence, I encourage people to vote for Obama and Biden. You'll be glad you did. Oh, and to "Joe the Plumber", you wouldn't owe back taxes if we had Obama's tax plan in place for the last four years! Dear fellow Americans: Please read the following: Some of my friends may be interested in the following very interesting scenarios in the form of a very brief article, sent to me by another friend regarding the two candidates for President of the United States, Enjoy: What if John McCain were a former president of the Harvard Law Review? What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class? What if McCain were still married to the first woman he said "I do" to? What if Obama were the candidate who left his first wife after she no longer measured up to his standards? What if Michelle Obama were a wife who not only became addicted to pain killers, but acquired them illegally through her charitable organization? What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard? What if Obama were a member of the "Keating 5"? What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker? If these questions reflected reality, do you really believe the election numbers would be as close as they are? This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative qualities in another when there is a color difference. This should make us pause and think.

First off, stupid stupid stupid Repubs and you're gossip blogging because you have too much time, money, and not enough to do. Don't get me wrong, the only reason I found this was because it is the day before election day and I searched 'Sarah Palin Is An Idiot' on Google just because I was bored at work (believe it or not I make decent money in what I do and still vote for the little guy which anyone living in this current economy should realize is the right thing to do.) Moving on, I have always been a liberal democrat and the decision was clear as day to vote for Obama/Biden even before the Repub clinched their idiocy by picking Palin in this crucial defining election. You were dead in the water with Bush, and you decided to have flip-flop McCain join the sock hop. (Don't ask why, I just enjoyed the rhyme scheme.) When the original Bush election happened 8 yrs ago, I could have backed a LOT of McCain's views, even being a liberal democrat, but since the party went with Bush, he went back on so many of his core values, he is no more than a corpse puppet at the whim of a corrupt power-hungry party. YOU are all the reasons why foreign relations hate us. You LIKE that you are ignorant and want things to stay the same so you can keep your excess amounts of money to buy your Gucci bags and your fucking gas-guzzling SUV's! OPEN YOUR EYES! The poor have been taxed so much, THEY HAVE NO MONEY LEFT TO GIVE! Whereas you damn Repubs sit on your piles of money only to give out as much as the little guy in terms of taxes? Yeah, that's fair. You talk about Palin and her religious ignorance, when you all exercise the same ignorance with our economy, having faith in a party that only cares about itself. Share and share alike? And I could go on for PAGES about your racial ignorance. Oh jeez, I didn't want to vote for Obama cause he's a black. GROW THE FUCK UP! Ever stop and look around, white people are going to be a minority, if they aren't already! I hope you all burn in hell. Thanks for listening

Palin....nothing more than a high school principal...at best. She needs to focus on being a "hockey mom."

As a former Naval Academy grad myself, I can say that I can now sleep soundly for the first time in the past couple of months as the spectre of Palin possibly becoming President is at least put off for the foreseeable future. Similar to the numerous posts on here, her nomination as V.P. was an absolute deal breaker for me to even consider voting for a fellow grad in Mccain.

I just want to say Thank You everyone for being here these past weeks. I really needed to know that I was not alone in my perceptions of Palin, when it appeared that the " Whole Ship had gone Mad ! "

THANK YOU AMERICA! SO LONG SARAH THE MORON!!!

I would like to thank my fellow Americans for seeing through the McCain-Palin ticket. I'm happy to be an American today. I'm optimistic about our future, but I realize change takes time. I'm happy to see Palin head back to Alaska, and McCain head back to Arizona with tails between their legs. We've heard the last from McCain. We haven't heard the last from Palin. She'll be back, but I think she fizzles as she won't be able to get the stench of corruption off of her hands. Thanks again for seeing through the smoke and mirrors and for voting for the best man to get the job done. ~Brian

Well, she cost Mccain my vote. Once I saw the Gibson interview, I basically soiled myself. I made 180 turn around at that point...I was actually terrified of this young Earth creationist moron being in the VP slot. In the process of switching my vote (still registered R now), I reconsidered all of my views, and I really can't see anything left in the 'R' to stand by any longer. Blue has always generally had the brains between the two anyway. For every Gingrich or Romney (who's bright, despite his religious indoctrination), the dems have 20 summa cum laude graduates. In any case, I'm glad Barack won, and I support him fully. He can't possibly turn this Bush created mess around in 4 years, so it's not going to be a pretty presidency. Hopefully the Republican party is completely finished for good. It's rotten, and it's ignorant; and the religious right needs to be purged from the party if it's ever to get my vote again. Too bad the shining stars like Newt, controversy and all, can't see it. I think he's a brilliant man and would be a good leader, but alas, he's blinded by his ideology as well. Kurt

What is still scary is the number of people that voted McCain/Palin. Can there be that many religious zelot in this country?

Posted by mean jean at November 6, 2008, 1:09 pm:
I had never voted for a republican in my life and I'm 55. I was torn somewhat, I didn't think Obama was the one, and I had always liked McCain. So I was planning on making my first Republican vote. Then he picked his running mate. How foolish could one man be? Paris Hilton would have been a better choice.

We can now breathe a sigh of relief!!! MCCain can now maybe focus on just why his campaign went way south (besides Sarah Palin!) Barack Obama is now our new leader and we all need to embrace this man and his new administration. It is what it is! He will have the WHOLE world looking at his every move and not everyone will agree with him 100% of the time just as any other president. Afterall, just look at what was handed to him. I think he will do a great job as does most of America. God Bless Barack Obama and his family.

Not sure I have the right answer for you Donna, but I have thought the same as you. I think that they brought Palin into the mix, thinking that not only would she create a diversionary buzz to keep eyes off the fact that the party didn't have anything to say positively about the issues, but that she would appeal to, and pick up some votes on, many different people that McCain was not a favorite with. 1) The Ultra Right Wing Conservatives religious zealots for sure but also: 2) Women for Hilary 3) Men who are controlled by their hormones and sex starved ( which is how she probably got in in Alaska where men have resorted to mail order brides who will brave the cold for money ) 4 ) Someone who could hurl irrational insults at Obama and Biden, so that McCain didn't have to 5) The people who want someone " Real " in Washington, as evidence by what was being said about Obama, and how real he is. Except for the "Women for Hilary" Vote, she did a good job on 4 out of 5 Obviously there are vast numbers of " Real " people in this country that are "Real" " Idiots " and " Really un-educated and mis- informed ", who relate to this self serving Bimbo, who professes to be a Christian, but can't even live by the Rules of the Ten Commandments, no less the rules of our Founding Fathers. Add these people to the vast amounts of immature, insecure, people who use power and money to make themselves feel like big deals and 'better than" and have a lot to protect by keeping the current 'game' going, who also might influence their employees to do the same, or else ! ( By the way, I saw a piece on Walmart and how they were threatening their employees to vote Republican in this election ) Then throw in all the people who don't have the time, or resources, or energy, or education, to access vast amounts of information, who would be easily manipulated by all the half truths and downright slanderous lies that were told over and over by McCain, Palin, themselves or in the ads, and also from the right wing media... especially during the last crucial four days of the campaign, and you might be able to come up with the numbers of people that you are wondering about. Truthfully, the weekend before the election, I was driving downtown to a local Green Market here in South Florida, and I had the radio on in the car. I was shocked to hear a McCain ad stating that Congressional Liberals were going to spend a trillion dollars of our tax money, and that Obama was going to be raising taxes on anyone making more than 42K a year. This ad was running every half hour from what I could tell. What shocked me was, that in all the time I was in the car, and heard the same ad over and over and over, I did not hear one ad from the Dems. Now, this is significant, as Florida is a BIG KEY SWING STATE. Monday night, before the campaign, McCain and Palin were both on a special SNL 2 hour show, and during that show I saw all Republican bought ads, mostly using the Reverend Wright speech , over and over and over. I noticed the lack of any Obama ads during this time. The thought crossed my mind that Obama had been threatened and was TRYING to lose the race. I could see how many people who only have time to listen to the radio while traveling here or there, and don't have time to watch much Tv, or be on the internet, could be manipulated to vote McCain. This is not to mention the robocalls that I never heard. Add this to basic immature and insecure bigotry and racism, and it isn't hard to see how the race might have been close with regard to the popular vote. Closer than anyone with reason would expect it to be. Luckily most of the people who are reasonable and can reason, live in states that are heavily weighted in electoral votes. All that said, Obama did very well in the red states too. I know that I have to focus on that, rather than focus on how could so many people still vote for McCain? And I have to return here, now and again, every time I see a frustrating article on how Palin might return here, and we have to hear her annoying whiny voice again ! Like I did tonight and read your post. So I used to be a Republican, when the party actually stood for something. I went Independent this year. I voted for Democrats, because looking at all the possibilities, I felt it was the RIGHT THING TO DO. Let's pray that Obama follows through and is allowed to live out his term(s). And Palin does some internet research and is too embarrassed to even run for dog catcher, when her time is up in Alaska, if they dont' find a way to impeach her now.

Posted by BillO\'Riley at November 9, 2008, 3:30 am:
wow. As a Republican, that was a bullet dodge. I sure hope that this Obama will be true to his word, cause i gave this man a chance. If not, let hope that Romney or Bobby Gindal will run the next term.

The only answer for 2012 is Sarah Palin. So what she's a 44 years old woman that can't recite the alphabet from memory? She's got 4 long years ahead of her where she can learn all she needs to know.

I think most everyone who has posted here other than the Fox News people must be democrate. I cannot believe people are so biased against Sarah Palin. I am a conservative American and I vote Independent. Reason being that the person I vote for believes in what I believe in. I don't let the term Dem or Rep. sway me. I hope all of you that voted for Obama got what change you expected. I think he and his ideas are pathetic. He needs to be out of this country, he has proven by going all over the world apologizing for America. I am proud of America, it was before Obama the Leading country in the world. Now I think it is still great but Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Broke.
