Credit Story

When I was in college I worked for a computer company and my job did not have all the glamor that it does today (hah!). I processed refunds over the phone for people that were billed for subscriptions to one of our websites. What I always found particularly disheartening was that people always seemed to be upset about the charges--as though they never placed them. Like we magically guessed their credit card numbers.

How were they so careless with their credit? How could people really not remember spending $300 on something? It's not like these cats were loaded and spent $300 on a whim all the time. I guess my point is that if you're going to use your credit, I don't know, remember what you buy as the first step to a healthy credit score?
